d. Each Controller shall be provided with a Soft Key that may operate

under Macro, Snap, Parameter, and Assign modes. The Soft keys may

also function as bump buttons and as chaser control keys.

e. One high-resolution monitor shall be provided for 9 selectable display

formats. Displays shall include but not be limited to current stage

output for channels and spots, controller and crossfader assignments,

effects editor, various exams, and a dynamic crossfader display.

f. An optional alphanumeric keyboard shall provide text labeling and an

alternative-editing keyboard. The alphanumeric keyboard shall have

multi-lingual support.

4. Software System overview

a. Operating software updates may be operator installed from 3.5” floppy

disks.

b. There shall be built in on screen help for all panel keys.

c. Capacity shall be upgradable at any time to the maximum console

configuration limitations.

5. Dimmer Monitoring

a. There shall be support for bi-directional dimmer monitoring, when

used in conjunction with Compulite dimmers (CMX), to allow

indication of dimmer temperature, dimmer load monitoring, and

dimmer error gathering.

6. Console Back Panel

The following connectors shall be provided:

a. DMX/ CMX output 1

e. Alphanumeric keyboard

g. Mains power output (for monitors)

l. DMX input or SMPTE input (Spark 4D/LX only)

m. MIDI In/Out/Thru (Spark 4D/LX only)

n. Remote bus (Spark 4D/LX only)

o. Audio In (optional)
